We know that securing your business end to end is important. That’s why we’re introducing three offerings, each designed for a different part of your business.
Microsoft Defender for Office 365
Protect your organization from email-borne threats, data loss, and other malware.
Reduce risk of noncompliance by preventing sensitive information from leaving the company.
Ensure that all email communications are compliant with industry standards throughout their lifecycle.
Secure sensitive data in transit and at rest across Office 365 services like Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Skype for Business Online and OneDrive for Business. This includes creating policies to protect privileged accounts or mailboxes that contain sensitive information so they cannot be compromised when they are shared with external parties such as suppliers or partners.
Microsoft Defender for Endpoint
Deployment of security software to devices
Protection against malware and ransomware
Protection against phishing and spam
Protection against data loss
Protection against network attacks
Defending the infrastructure from malicious code, such as worms, viruses, Trojans and other forms of malware. Users may inadvertently invite malware onto their systems by clicking a link in a phishing email or visiting a website hosting an exploit kit.
Detecting suspicious activity on your network which could lead to an intrusion (i.e., scanning for open ports). This could include attempts by hackers to log into your system using default credentials or brute force attacks (i.e., trying every possible combination).
Blocking traffic that originates from known malicious IP addresses (i.e., IP addresses used by botnets) so that they cannot communicate with other computers on the Internet. This includes blocking access to things like command-and-control servers which provide instructions for carrying out cyberattacks.
Protecting user identities during authentication processes with two-factor authentication methods like SMS codes via mobile phones or biometrics such as facial recognition badges.* Preventing users‘ passwords being compromised if hackers manage to steal them through sophisticated means including phishing emails with embedded links leading users back into sensitive areas within the company’s internal network where there are easily accessible login portals (such as webmail portals).
Microsoft Defender for Identity
Microsoft Defender for Identity is a cloud-based security service that helps you protect your identity and data from cyber threats. Microsoft Defender for Identity provides protection against phishing, social engineering and account takeovers to help keep your identity safe.
